Difficult Access Inspection

Regular surveys and emergency inspections are crucial for structures like buildings and bridges. Sometimes, traditional methods like visual checks from the ground or suspended scaffolding aren't feasible. That's when advanced access techniques come into play.

INSPECTION TECHNIQUES FOR COMPLEX STRUCTURES

We reach difficult spots with aerial work platforms, bucket trucks, BridgeMaster under-bridge units, swing stages, rope access and drones, and record what we find with high-resolution photos, video and photogrammetry. Recent work includes a drone-enhanced condition survey of the Woodlawn Road bridge and inspections of four structures under live rail at Union Station for Metrolinx.
